Label requirements in the EU
There are compulsory, facultative and forbidden indications on a wine label.
Compulsory indications:
The word wine or an AOC (acknowledged area of origin)
Name and address of the producer or bottler (may also be a code)
Land of origin)
Contents
Alcohol percentage.
Contains sulfite

Facultative: Colour of the wine, medals, flavor, food advice, etc.
Forbidden: Placing the wine in a category which is too high.
