Many participants juggle demanding work and busy personal lives, with time constraints often being an obstacle. At Wijnstudio Level 3, each participant has the opportunity to take part in three valuable online sessions, led by a certified WSET educator. During these sessions, an online group environment is provided for questions, discussions, and interaction among fellow participants.
Wijnstudio Service – First Online Training: Study Guidance
During the initial training, at the beginning of the program, you will receive guidance on effective study methods. Topics such as group study, the use of flashcards, and creating mind maps are discussed and explained.
Wijnstudio Service – Second Online Training: Exam Preparation
This session provides comprehensive exam preparation. You will gain insight into what to expect during the exam, how to avoid pitfalls, and how to achieve the best results.
Wijnstudio Service – Third Online Training: Exam Training
This online exam training includes a practical section where you taste two wines, similar to the exam, followed by a theoretical practice test. During this session, tasting notes are discussed, with a focus on answering the open questions, which are further explained and clarified.
A sommelier-level course
The Advanced course WSET level 3 is an intensive course, it is a big step in level from WSET level 2, and an even bigger step from SDEN 3 to WSET level 3. A condition for successfully completing your studies is to prepare every lesson. Eventually, have your questions ready for the teacher. It is strongly recommended to start reading and learning as soon as you receive the book, and to make a lesson schedule. We advise 9 hours of self-study per week.
